New teen sex fear: "Daisy chaining"
Posted by Cobrian on 11:12 AM 05/06/2005
This would so properly fit into my fantasy of going back to school... No responsibilities, not having to worry about making money to support self, just watching girls do daisy chains all day long... :)
I'd almost suggest we make a good education video and send it to schools... :)

I can't fathom why open sexuality might be viewed as a threat to society. Any society. If you want people to be happy, they need to express themselves, and that includes sexuality. In the modern world, people are becoming increasingly isolated from each other, even as the cities grow into multi-million inhabitant megacities.
Spam is nothing more than a slight disturbance in the networks of today. If adequate protection methods would be accepted globally, all spam could be a thing of the past. The methods are there, you just need to patch every single system. Sure, they might hack the system, but that's just life. The real reasons behind spam are organized crime and poverty. Plus the biggest goblin of all, greed.
Actual sex sites usually do not send spam. I've used plenty, and I've been happy. Most of my needs have been satisfied, and I wish more people would find all the great online communities that have formed and are forming still.
Putting up a separate network just for the sake of adult entertainment would be a colossal waste of money and resources. All that is needed is a global regulatory system that all adult sites adhere to. I'd also like to see more sexual education in schools and in families, so kids could get a better view of what it means to be a sexual, healthy human being.

Internet to be Turned Over to UN!

A.
Censorship on the Internet is a total impossibility. The only real way of doing this would be to exclude all countries with relaxed laws about freedom of speech, resulting in the total destruction of the Internet. I seriously doubt this will happen.
B.
The idea behind a UN-"controlled" internet would be more privy to the idea that IPv4 addresses are unevenly distributed, and almost totally under American control. If the US would reliquish it's hold on a number of addresses it is currently holding, there would be no need to instigate IPv6 for another 10-20 years, perhaps even more, giving programmers more time to perfect the technology. Also, things like the VeriSign fiasco would be avoided by having a non-profit organisation handle the administration of TLD's (Top-Level Domains).
