^topolino is "rat" or "little rat" in italian...
and indeed they call that the "first" 500, but only after WWII, people bought these by mass: cheap and economical

I agree, this is a Fiat 500, the most popular car in Italy during the 50's and the 60's; in particular this is the New Fiat 500, the heir of the Fiat 500 Topolino (Mickey Mouse in italian)
